"Inu-Yasha" is a Anime by Ms.Rumiko Takahashi about a typical high school girl, Kagome (kah-go-may) who wanders to a well on her property looking for her cat, which her brother said fell into "The Bone-Eater's Well" in the "Sunset Shrine". Her Brother,Sota, told her to go into the well and find Buyo (the cat). The well seal broke,and a centipede-like monster (Mistress Centipede) pulled her down into the well, telling Kagome to give up the "Jewel of Four Souls". The Jewel of Four Souls can fufill the dreams of any kind of wish. Kagome suceeds in breaking Mistress Centipede's grip and lands on the bottom of the well. She climbs out of the well and finds she's not in the Sunset Shrine anymore. In fact, the well is stranded. Kagome runs to the tree which she remembers was the tree in her backyard. She sees a person pinned to the tree with an arrow and very thick vines. It doesn't have human ears,but dog-like ears that are perked up like Chihuahua's. This is the half demon-half human named (shock,shock) Inu-Yasha. Thus,the story begins. He tells her that she has been transported to Fuedal Japan. The nearby town's Priestess,Lady Kaede (kye-a-day) throws a neckless on Inu-Yasha when he is trying to kill Kagome because she looks like his old girlfriend ,who "killed" him (Kikyo).The neckless makes Inu-Yasha slam to the ground whenever Kagome says"SIT". SO, Kagome and Inu-Yasha team up by force and go every where looking for the remains of the Shikon Shards(jewel of four souls) which Kagome accidentally destroyed when an evil crow swallowed it and she shot it with an arrow. Naraku, the over-all bad guy, hated Kikyo and Inuyasha and took the body of Kikyo and "killed" Inuyasha, then took on the form of Inuyasha and killed Kikyo, and when Kikyo was ressurected, she wated to kill Inuyasha, therefore turning them on eachother. The monk Miroku and fox demon( but a good one)Shippo and Sango team up with Inu-Yasha and Kagome because Miroku wants it to kil Naraku who placed the void curse on his family,and Shippo wants The Shikon Jewel to avenge his Father,which was killed by the EXTREMELY ugly Thunder Brothers, and Sango wants it to kill Naraku and let her brother, Kohaku, be awakened from Naraku's spell and her family be avenged.
