Alright, one fine day, a little girl named Aki,then 8, wanted a website. She asked her older sister if she could help her. Her older sister, Jessica, already had a website. So little Aki made her own website. It was very simple. It was a big site about her. Jessica,then 12, told her the best webmasters started their first sites about themselves. So her site was at www.babybunny91.webgalaxy.com, "Babybunny's Burrow" Then she was known as Otaku AKi Katashi as she is today, she Babybunny. It was great to her. She updated it twice. That was it.
AND THEN ANOTHER FINE DAY.
Lil Aki, then 10,met a girl named Taylor. Taylor, then 10, taught her more about anime. Of course Aki already knew about anime, but Taylor-sensei taught her great things, like Fruits Basket and Inu-Yasha and Saint Tail Meimi. Then, Lil Aki went home and asked her sis Jessica, now 14, "What ever happened to my old website?" Jessica replied, "Remember? We canceled it. Your site and my site are no more." Shocked, Aki asked her what she was doing. Jessica was setting up an account on Tripod. Tripod was the easiest website maker at the time. Aki asked her if she could have a site on Tripod. Jessica signed her up too. Now, since Aki was still learning about the internet, she started her Tripod site just like her last one. She had a stupid layout, with stars and circles on a purple backround. It was all about her. It had 3 pages, the home, guestbook, and contact me page. Soon, Aki figured out Tripod and made her site an anime site. This fine day was around October 28, 2001. She had 1 page with Sailor Moon pictures on it an Anime Page, and 3 inuyasha pictures on the homes page, and a big old picture with Harry Potter on it. This page was full of nothing at the beginning. Big patches of "Click here for supporting content" all over it. Big she transformed it. She got another purple-white layout, with curled stripes on the edges. It was getting good. After a year, she put in a purple-green layout, with a big corner on the top-left side. She made pages on better animes, and by now she could call this site her own. She put in things on Japan, on anime, links, really great things, and made it a big thing with awards. She put in a black layout, with swirly @'s on it,and it was now a site. Over thousands of people visited from all over the world, like georg from Austria, Mewmeow from New Zealand, and Katy from New York. and do you know what this little world that lil Aki started up when she was just 8?
This was Otaku's World.
Yes, this big site used to be a little, insignificant, website with a picture of Harry Potter on it and nothing else. Through the great nature of evolution, Little Aki was no more, Babybunny was no more. No. There was now, Otaku Aki Katashi. Me. Yes. THIS STORY IS ALL BOUT ME! I AM LITTLE AKI! I AM BABYBUNNY91! I WAS OTAKUGRRL! BUT NOT ANYMORE. I don't say my alias in shame (hah Babybunny was such a stupid name), i can say my name nice and proud. Now, BOW TO ME, VERMIN!
